In the past two days I’ve made two trips to two different Walmarts, and possibly a third later today. Whatever for, you may ask yourself? For none other than my Digital TV converter box!! You see, you can get one at Best Buy or Circuit City for $20. However, at Walmart they are just $10 after using the coupon!!

Apparently everyone knows about this, because both times I went to Walmart they were sold out. Geez, I thought everyone had cable but me?! I guess I was wrong. Why can’t Walmart order more of these things anyway?

I’ve also been trying to find an iPod shuffle. I figured they’d have them there for the same price ($48 ) and I’d have no problem getting my hands on one. Everyone’s getting the iPhone anyway, right? Apparently Walmart either doesn’t like to order these, or these things are hotter than I thought!!! At both Walmarts they have been sold out as well.

Lastly I bought these pencil boxes at Walmart a few years ago, and I thought I’d get a few more for organizing. Apparently they have discontinued getting the “Spacemakers” brand and the ones they have aren’t big enough for what I want. BOO!

Walmart is testing my patience….if they keep doing this much longer I’m going to end up running off to Best Buy and take my business elsewhere! hehe.

[7pm Update: I called a third Walmart and they are out of the converters as well. If I'd have known these things were hotter than the Wii I'd have gotten on this long ago!]
