2011 Goals
1) Read 12 books.
As of 03/25/11 I’ve read 4 out of 12.
No Need for SpeedFrom the Mixed-up Files of Dr. Basil E. Frankweiler(yes, it’s a children’s book…)Tim Gunn’s Golden Rules- Anna Karenina* (I WILL finish it this year…)
Running Out of Time (another kid’s book)
*Currently reading
2) Allow myself to be more creative. (What do I mean? Doodle more, sketch sewing ideas, general “outside the box” thinking without judging myself.)
3) Make new friends.
4) Continue to expand my sewing skills. (In case you’re interested, this includes making a variety of garments I haven’t tried before…pants, a coat, jeans, swimsuit… improving my fitting techniques, letting loose with design ideas, working on improving my hand sewing, etc.)
5) Learn to knit socks. Don’t ask why….I just want to, lol.

Oh my goodness, you should bump The Lovely Bones up to the top of your next ‘to-read’ list. It was amazing! Best book I’d read in a long time.

I got the Lasik about two months ago. I was lucky my parents wanted to pay for it, but I could’ve almost paid for it myself. I just want to say one thing: I was a bit scared before I did the operation, but after a week or so when you’re slowly gaining eye sight, it feels SO GREAT. I’m sure you’ll love it afterwards, and you’ll be wondering “why the hell didn’t I do this earlier????”. At least, that’s what I did… 😀
